Honeywell Opportunity for Prosperity through Education Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship fund is to provide talented high school students who are economically challenged with a funded path to a post secondary degree focused on a career in a manufacturing trade or technical profession.

To be eligible you must be a high school senior, and:

  1. have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (unweighted) in their senior year,
  2. plan to pursue a manufacturing or trade degree (Associate in Applied Science or certificate trade program), and
  3. be graduating from one of the following schools or districts: Kansas City Public Schools, Kansas City, KS Public Schools (USD #500), Independence Public Schools, Grandview High School, Center High School, Ruskin High School, Alta Vista Charter School or Bishop Ward High School – OR – be a part of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City and/or Boys and Girls Club.

Community service and extracurricular activities are a plus.
