Kansas Foster and Adoptive Children Scholarship Fund

This fund was established to provide scholarships for any type of further education beyond high school including college, junior college, vocational, technical or other trade schools.

Students eligible for assistance shall:

  1. Be a student who is currently or was previously a foster child in the State of Kansas, which may include a foster child who have been adopted;
  2. Plan to enroll in a college, junior college, vocational, technical or other trade schools next academic year.

The type and amount of aid may include, but is not necessarily limited to tuition, room and board, books, etc. The scholarship awards will be paid directly to the school involved.Awards granted in June will be paid in two installments, one each semester. Scholarships awarded in November will be paid in one payment for the following Spring semester.
