St. Peter's Troop 118 Boy Scout Scholarship Fund

The St. Peter’s Troop 118 Boy Scout Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship to Boy Scouts who are active in Troop 118 and plan to further their education at a local tuition-based high school in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

The students eligible for assistance shall be graduating eighth graders who will be attending a local tuition-based high school and who are currently participating in Boy Scout Troop 118. Students who currently attend a local tuition-based high school and who remain active in Boy Scout Troop 118 are also eligible to apply.

Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments in August and January.

A minimum of one (1) $1,000 scholarship annually to be paid in two equal installments of $500 each to the educational institution in the account of the recipient. This is a one-time scholarship with no option for renewal.

Applications are due May 10 and formal announcements will be made late May of each year.
