Gordon M. Robinson Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the Gordon M. Robinson Memorial Scholarship is to assist financially struggling Missouri residents who are computer science majors at a public four-year college or university in Missouri.

The students eligible for assistance shall be:

  1. Missouri residents;
  2. No older than twenty-one (21) years old when they apply;
  3. Enrolled in or planning to enroll full-time in a public four-year; college or university in Missouri;
  4. Major in computer science; and
  5. Demonstrate financial need.

Preference will be given to graduating seniors and graduates from Truman High School in Independence, MO and to students attending the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Scholarships may be awarded to students at other schools at the discretion of the Advisory Committee. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in two equal payments in August and January.

Renewal: Scholarships may be renewed at the discretion of the Advisory Committee provided the recipient maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and meets the eligibility criteria stated above.
