Elizabeth Miller Watkins Memorial Scholarship Fund (renewal applicants)
The purpose of the Elizabeth Miller Watkins Scholarship is to assist women students of outstanding scholastic achievement and demonstrated financial need in completing their college education at KU.
Amount: Awards of $1,000 or more per semester will be made to each recipient
Eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Previous recipients of the Elizabeth Miller Watkins Scholarship;
- Enrolled as a student at the University of Kansas in an undergraduate or graduate program, and/or engaged in academic activities that support your career goals.
- 3.0 GPA or higher on 4.0 scale; and
- Demonstrated financial need.
Current recipients who continue to meet the eligibility criteria may reapply annually to receive the scholarship for up to 8 academic semesters and/or a cumulative scholarship award of $10,000.

- Attach an Undergraduate Academic Summary (UAS) with your most recently completed semester GPA and current enrollment.
- Comment briefly on your academic plans for next year. Briefly describe experience(s) that confirmed your academic path or challenged you to make changes. If you plan to study abroad, please let us know where and when. Use this space to advocate for continued support for semesters during which you are fulfilling minimally or unpaid internships, student teaching, advanced degrees, collaborative programs with other academic institutions, etc. that support your academic and career goals. If your plans include less than full-time enrollment, specify number of hours per semester and describe the related academic activities required for graduation and/or certification in your professional field.
