Reasons to Believe Scholarship Fund

The Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools has established the Reasons to Believe Alumni Honor Roll to honor graduates of the school district for their achievements and inspiration for today’s students. Scholarships will be awarded to students based on academic performance and achievement in community service. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Application Requirements
1. Complete and submit application by the deadline.
2. Planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school in the Fall 2025 semester
3. Submit a resume with information about school activities and community involvement.
4. Submit a 500 word essay.
5. Optional: Submit a letter of recommendation – from a high school counselor, principal, teacher, community member, or employer.
