Kelly Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships to the children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren of Altec Industries employees who are pursuing a degree in engineering at a two-year or four-year college or university.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet the following:
- be a natural, adopted or step-child, niece, nephew or grandchild of a current Altec Industries employee (not an intern or contractor); and
- be a high school graduate with a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5; and
- have an ACT composite score of 24 or above along with an ACT mathematics score of 28 or above; or the SAT equivalent and
- be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university; and
- be pursuing a degree in engineering;
or – for Canadian students:
- be a natural, adopted or step-child, niece, nephew or grandchild of a current Altec Industries employee (not an intern or contractor); and
- be a high school graduate with an 80% average (Honours)
- be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university; and
- be pursuing a degree in engineering
- provide a document outlining your enrollment into an engineering program
The award is a one-year scholarship of up to $5,000 to be used for tuition and books, room and board, or other educational expenses.
Previous scholarship recipients may not reapply for future awards from the Fund.
