David K. Smoot Agricultural Innovation Memorial Scholarship for KSU Students

The scholarship will honor David K. Smoot’s legacy and continual pursuit of new and innovative studies. He was a graduate of Kansas State University in Mechanical Engineering. David left a legacy in the pneumatic conveying industry that will be remembered by many. It is in that spirit that this scholarship be created to support the future of agriculture including problem solving and innovation. This scholarship will exist to support students planning to attend Kansas State University in the University’s Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation majors. It was David’s desire for his legacy to positively impact sustainability of life on Earth and it is with this intent that the scholarship was created.

Students eligible for this scholarship shall be:
High School Seniors with a 3.0 GPA planning to attend Kansas State University; or
Current College Students with a 2.5 GPA attending Kansas State University
