Rhoades to Justice Scholarship Fund

The Rhoades to Justice Scholarship supports determined students from Kansas City public schools who are passionate about justice and committed to pursuing college despite obstacles. Founded by Gary and Christina Rhoades, with generous support from friends and family, the scholarship honors their belief in justice, opportunity, and service. It is inspired in part by the people Gary has met in his own journey from public schools and Kansas City roots to a law career dedicated to advancing civil rights and social justice.

Students eligible for this scholarship shall be:

  1. High school seniors or current college students with a 3.4 GPA or higher
  2. Graduated from a public high school in Kansas City, MO
  3. Shows a committed interest in pursuing a career in civil rights and social justice, especially in the fields of law, education, social work, medicine, or journalism.
