Phyllis A. Washington Scholarship Fund
This fund was established in honor of Phyllis A. Washington, a long-time Principal and Superintendent at Allen Village School in Kansas City, Missouri. The scholarship was established to provide support to graduating high school students pursuing a post-secondary education.
This application pertains to a book award of up to $500, designated exclusively for second year renewal applicants who are former recipients of the Phyliss A. Washington Scholarship. Minimum GPA 2.50.
The students eligible for assistance shall:
- Previous recipients of the Phyllis A. Washington Scholarship at Allen Village School;
- be attending a two or four year college, university and/or technical school.
- have a minimum 2.5 cumulative college GPA.
Scholarships will be made payable to the student to be used toward books.
